2003 Other Jaguar Models V6 All Wheel Drive Automatic 79850 miles

Need an e-z whay to change my alternater on a jaguar x-type 2003 2.5lit. v6 all wheel drive. Thank you.

Removal
Disconnect battery ground cable and remove accessory drive belt. See DRIVE BELT & TENSIONER .
Remove A/C compressor. See appropriate AUTOMATIC A/C-HEATER SYSTEMS article in HVAC.
Remove the generator positive battery cable protective cover, positive battery cable and generator electrical connector.
Remove the generator upper and lower mounting bolts. Remove generator from vehicle.
Installation
Install generator to vehicle. Install the generator mounting bolts. Tighten generator mounting bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
Install the generator electrical connector and generator positive battery cable. Install generator positive battery cable retaining nut and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install generator positive battery cable protective cover.
Install the A/C compressor. See appropriate AUTOMATIC A/C-HEATER SYSTEMS article in HVAC.
Install the accessory drive belt. See DRIVE BELT & TENSIONER . Connect battery ground cable.
