Sorry for the delay. Unfortunately, when you updated the post, it moved it back to the bottom of the list and we work from oldest to newest questions.
Unfortunately, the only way to remove it would be to drill it out and put in a blank key to turn the switch because you have to line up the switch to be able to remove it.

However, I would not drill it out. What I would do is just take your VIN to a dealer and they can cut a metal blank key to fit the vehicle for pretty cheap. Also, if you have a locksmith in the area, they can do the same thing and are usually cheaper than the dealer.
