When my 2001 trooper sits for a period of time it starts fine. If I drive it and stop to do errands, etc. It will start and then stall out.
In december I had the intake manifold gaskets replaced due to leaking, however the same problems are happening again.
any ideas?

Hi
Assuming recent tune, filters etc. Sounds like a hot soak situation. What happens if you keep on gas? Does it restart and idle? Any smoke from exhaust when this happens?
Let me know
Thanks for donate

Thanks for your quick response. The car has recent tune,
filters, etc.

It is strange. Lately, when I start it in the morning, it is fine. If I stop and get gas or do errands, when I go to restart, it will turn over and then stall out. When I restart I will rev up the car and quickly have to get it into gear and then it will run ok. No extra exhaust to speak of

This has been going on for the past month. However, besides what I explained up top, now it is starting to
stall when I idle at a light. Strange because I can drive on a highway and have no problem. Any help you can give me I appreciate. These isuzus are hard to service. Wish I had someone in MD who was an expert.

Thanks,
Bill

No engine light? So try this Get some MAF spray cleaner. A throttle body cleaner and Techron by Chevron fuel system cleaner. All can be got at parts store or Walmart. Clean throttle body use a tooth brush and clean MAF put cleaner in tank drive see if it improves.
