Check Engine Light was blinking for few days on my 2002 Isuzu Rodeo Sport (3.2L V6, Rear wheel drive, 70,000 miles) and I took it to the mechanic who said its spark plug coils were burnt off and they need a replacement. He was saying it had total 6 coils out of which 5 were burnt off and it costs around $150/a piece for the new one and a total of $1200 to replace it..???. I read most of the messages in here and never came across anyone talk about this problem and want to be sure if this is that expensive.???:( Please advice..as this is going to be much expensive for me......Thank you very much...

yes i have heard of this before, when one goes out it isnt common for multiple ones to go out at the same time, and they are not cheap as you have found out!

if you do it yourself you could save a few hundred in service fee's, but dont be looking for anything much lower.
