Do you bleed the hydraulic clutch the same as you bleed brakes: pump several times-open valve to release air while pedal is down and repeat untill all air is out?

Yes, I always pump once, twice and on the third hold it to the floor. Open the bleeder slowly and then close it. Repeat as needed and make sure master never goes low. Repeat no more than 5 times before refilling master. B. Hubs

I have 1992 Rodeo 3.1 v6 rwd with Borg Warner, my other 92 Rodeo 3.1 4x4 with mua never gave me clutch pedal issues like the borg warner. My clutch is good but since last fall playing in mud my clutch pedal has been giving me issues. I've replaced pedal assembly and now hydraulic hose. Pedal still somewhat on floor, I've bled several times, there doesn't seem to be anymore leakage. So I'm hoping I just need to adjust pedal, or the hose brackets were put on reverse of how it was. Could that make a difference? Or is pumping bleeder too much causing more air bubbles?
