Ok I have no idea what's wrong with this car it doesn't have blown head gaskets had that checked just replaced the water pump and thermostat had an oil change but it keeps saying the coolent is hot yet when you pull over lift the hood and check there is no smell no smoke you can put your hand on the engine and it's not hot I'm done messing with it I'm open to offers but will not go much lower then im asking given with its problem it books for a lot more the what im asking I would tow if your coming from to far away to be on safe side. I'm only looking to spend a total of $1500, she's selling the car for $1200 is it worth my money to buy and fix? And what's wrong with it? Is the repair expensive? Please help me.

Without punctuation this is really hard to figure out what you're asking. It can be read numerous different ways. If this is a vehicle you're thinking about buying, if the needed repairs were easy or inexpensive, the seller would have done them already. People sell cars with problems because they can't solve them or it's going to be expensive. With GM vehicles, you can assume it's going to be expensive.

Your diagnosis based on you can hold your hand on the engine is one I've never heard of. You need a scanner to view live data to see exactly what the coolant temperature is. There's a chemical test for a leaking cylinder head gasket. Any other observations are just guesses.

We don't get involved with costs here because there's way too many variables, plus, we don't even know what's wrong with it.
