I have recently pieced back together my car (SVT model) after it dropped a rod in February. I replaced the entire engine assembly with one that was in a wrecked SVT. I checked the compression before I bought it from this guy and it was good. He told me that the engine had 30,000 miles and showed me the odometer to prove it.
On to my issue, I go to start this thing up and at first it backfires badly. Turns out I am an idiot and flip flopped the spark plug wires for five and six, so I switch those around. I go to start it up again and I cannot hear the fuel pump. I go at it with a test light and there is no power at the orange/violet wire going into the fuel pump assembly. I know is the power so I check the relay and fuse. Both are fine. I have been using the hot wire with a fuse to run the starter and it has been building pressure at the relief valve.

Try a security system reset this thing has sat for a very long time and battery was disconnected or discharged. both can activate the system once there is power again. some cut off fuel others spark and others cut off both. yours may be a key which i am assuming is original but here is our link for this. Also, check all fuses under hood.
