It won't crank until I let go of the key or sometimes it is slightly hesitant but it always starts?

So, I take excellent care of my vehicle even though it's high mileage it literally drives new. I have recently replaced battery starter alternator starter relay switch and a few other things to prepare the vehicle for the next couple of years as. I used it to earn an income, I think I need to change the ignition switch what I noticed is upon the very first cold start it cranks with no problem it continues to crank with no problem throughout the day, but what I will notice is sometimes it won't crank until I let go of the key or sometimes it is slightly hesitant but it always starts. This usually happens around the 6th, 7th, 8th start but then throughout the day it can go back to starting just fine which leads me to believe it is a worn ignition switch that is starting to manifest. What are your thoughts?

Yep, I agree with you the ignitions witch sounds worn out here is how to change it out in the images below. You will need to remove the steering column covers before you can get at the switch. Take a sharp chisel and catch the edge of the mounting bolts to loosen them. I have found how to test the switch as well if you want to confirm the failure. Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.

I appreciate you man maybe in another lifetime I'll do my own work just taking it to my mechanic throwing OEM part in there the way I take care of her she'll last over 500,000 love that car!

So I wanted to give an update anything that you can possibly imagine that would need to be replaced to get the car to 500,000 miles has been replaced fuel pump fuel sock filters spark plugs etc, so as I stated before it seems like after the engine warms up the hesitancy begins I've had the idle airflow valve cleaned on more than one occasion this is what I think happened someone who did not know how to clean it properly ended up compromising it which would explain why there is a hesitancy after the car is warmed up but not when it's cold my question before I replace the whole throttle body can a trained mechanic look at it and see if any of the components have been compromised?

Yep, that would be a good idea, let me know what they say please. It could be an engine coolant temperature sensor, vacuum leak, or bad throttle body.

Can you tell me more about the vacuum leak? Is there any way to narrow it down I can tell you that apart from the cranking which seems off sometimes the idle seems fine the performance of the vehicle is absolutely amazing from the shifting to the way that it sounds etc, maybe tell me more about what kind of vacuum leak you're talking about?
