Ignition problem

When I turn the ignition key, the engine turns over, but it won't start. When you release the key, it remains in the start position and the engine keeps turning over. I have to manually turn the switch back for it to stop. I have replaced the ignition switch and ignition cylinder, but nothing has changed.

That is an odd issue because you would think the ignition cylinder would have fixed it.

At this point the only thing that really makes sense is the key is somehow causing it to hang up so can you try a different key?

If the second key, does it (I am not confident it is the key) then we need to remove the cylinder again and lubricate the housing because that would be the last thing that would make sense. I would use white lithium grease, so it doesn't run all over.
