Ignition key stuck

The engine starts, but key will not turn all the way back to remove the key. the ignition key tumbler is brand new.

This sounds like the issue is with the ignition key lock. Basically this locks the key in the ACC position until it sees the vehicle in park. Then it allows the key to be turned to the off position and released.

When you have the vehicle in park, and you press the brake, you should hear the solenoid release. If it doesn't then I suspect this is the issue.
