When I use the remote key entry to lock or unlock the doors, the interior electrical system shuts down. Everything from ignition, power windows, dome lights, everything except for the cigarette lighter outlets x 2. I can turn on the headlights and everything resets as if I disconnected the battery and reconnected. Clock reset and radio memory also. The last time I used the remote fob to lock the doors the door lock mechanism went into a stuck locking mode( clicking noise continualy locking) would not let me unlock with fob so I used the key and it stopped making noise, but again everything was shut down including ignition, etc. Turn on headlights and everything back to normal. Except to reset clock and radio memory as explained. Any ideas? Bill

Hi B4Blast,

The clock and radio resetting indicates that memory power supply had been cut off. The power sockets remaining operative and you are able to turn on the headlights indicates the main power supply is available.

This indicates a possible fault in the power distribution center. Somewhere inside the distribution center some connections are poor and when the FOB is used, the triggering of the door locks causes the contact to fail. Turning the headlights on could have the relays clicking to judder the contacts to restore the power supply.

I would suggest checking the PDC.
