Idle/RPM

My car experience a high rpm on start-up which is screaming loud. Probably 3,000-5,000 rpm's and I let it stand for a 1 minute. Then my engine bay showed some smoke and I immediately turned it off. Car still starts without a problem. What is that smoke from the engine? Is it just got hot too fast or damage from high rev/rpm from idle? I understand this is idle issue but my concern is the smoke.

Hello,

That doesn't sound good. Can you look at the wiring harness in your vehicle's engine compartment and look for any obvious melted or burnt spots for us? Please get back to us with what you find and we can go from there.

Thanks,
Alex

It can be just oil on the exhaust manifold. Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can see what's going on? that would be great. You can upload it here with your response.
