Scan for codes and check for a vacuum leak, then clean throttle plate on both sides and IAC hole with choke cleaner.

If you are in us go to an auto parts they can scan it. Most major ones do then get back with codes. For vacuum leak check hoses cracked or off/broken etc. Including grommets on engine or duct work going to engine with holes or off.
