Will not stay running

Car starts and idles but pull out and shuts off.

So the car shuts off as soon as you put it in gear? Or will it stay running until you give it gas and let the clutch out?

However, if it stalls as soon as you put it in gear or even start to let the clutch out, then I suspect the clutch is failing and not fully disengaging? So when you put it in gear it pulls the engine down and stalls it. Does it jump a little or jerk at all as it is stalling or does it stall out like it is running out of fuel?
