When I replaced my CV axles, then I took it for a test drive the vehicle will pull to one side or the other and will kind of stay there unless I move the steering wheel back to center. When I went to install the CV axles I had trouble getting them in the transmission, so I gently tap on the outer axle nut with a rubber hammer. Could I have damaged the CV axle in some way? Thank you.

Hello,

The CV axles cannot cause this problem so you are okay there. It sounds more like you have a problem with the ball joints like one is seized. Can you recheck your work to see why a ball joint is bound up?

Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.

Cheers, Ken
