2003 Hyundai Tiburon CV joint?

I have a ticking noise from the front drivers side. I can feel it under my left foot while driving. The noise gets faster as I accelorate and sometimes I can hear a grinding noise. It sometimes goes away but not for long. I can move the tire up and down and it feels only a little loose, side to side is tight

There should be no play. At all.

IF it seems like a roar or a hum and may change when very one way or the other, it is most likley a wheel bearing. Typically you would also have up and down play if you push pull at the 6 and 12 positions or the 3 and 9 positions with your hands. May also have a ball joint problem present in the event the axle is bad as there would be no play when an axle goes bad.
