Transmission problem
1998 Hyundai Tiburon 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

How easy is it to change the transmission in a 98 automatic tiburon,And is there any other transmission that will work with this car?

HI there,

This is not technically difficult to do, but there will be some tooling that is not normally owned by home mechanics needed, and it will be difficult with out the advantage of a hoist and a transmission support jack, it will take a professional mechanic around 5 hrs to do, there is no other trans that will fit this car.
