my engine locked up, i think. oil is now sludge. wife never changed oil when i instructed her to. now it wont turn over. how do i know if its locked up? im hoping there is a safety feature that stops the engine from blowing.

Hi there,

There is no safety device sorry, what you will have to do is remove the spark plugs and with a socket and bar on the crank shaft front bolt, see if the engine will turn over, if not i feel that it will be seized.
