3 weeks ago I noticed that when idling my car would start to overheat. It was determined that the secondary fan is not turning on unless I turn of the heater. The thermostat was recently replaced, so I am guessing my next step would be to have the relay replaced. (This car has had more electrical issues than I can even list)
So in the meantime, when I know I will be idling I turn the heater on. I did this tonight after a 45 mile drive, came home, and found that there was a trail of water under my car. Definitely water, clear and no smell. It is 70 degrees and very humid, but the only time I've seen water runoff is after running the A/C, not the heater. Does this sound unusual?
Any other suggestions?

Clear water is condensation built up on your a/c components. That is normal. As far as the over heating goes, thats not normal. What sort of electrical problems have you had in the past? Does it have anything involving your fuseable link?

Nothing involving a fuseable link. At least I have never heard the term. All the previous issues have surrounded the crank sensor, speed sensor, etc. At 38K I got a new timing belt, balance belt, power steering line, and 2 new engine coils.
I'm going to have my mechanic look at the relay for the fan on Monday. I was just concerned about the water, seeing as the a/c wasn't on. I personally have never seen it happen after the heat was on. But then again, I really know nothing about cars. Except never buy a Hyundai again! :)
