2002 Hyundai Sonata Rear Lights Won't Go Off

2002 Hyundai Sonata

My roommate just discovered my rearlights on. I checked to make sure everything was off and I also restarted my car and then turned if off, but those lights won't go off. My battary is going to die, isn't it? Is there a short in the wiring?

Dunno what light is On but am hinting its the brake lights-

Disconnect the brake switch connector at the brake switch on the support bracket and see what happens lights off either adjust the switch or replace it.
