2002 Hyundai Sonata fuel system

It's very hard to put fuel in to this vehicle. The pump keeps clicking off after every couple of dollars are pumped in to the car. The problem seems to go away in the summer when it's warmer. I live in Ohio and it seems the colder it is outside, the worse the problem is.

I here so much about these hyundai's doing this , and the problem tends to be the charcoal evap canister, once it has been overfilled at one point or another, it starts this problem you are describling, you may have to change the whole evap canister,
