hyandai santa fe 2004. Heavy rain today and was forced to go through a puddle - puddle was large but many cars went through same puddle. After the puddle the cars power steering was coming in and out but car was still running fine.I was also very low on fuel and thought that was a factor with the power steering. When I reached my destination I turned off car and then restarted, struggled but did restart. About 30mins later I returned to vehicle and car would not start.I have gone through these steps. 1) To confirm low fuel not issue I put a jerry can of fuel in. - Still no start but I can hear fuel pump etc.2) check air filter no water at all. 3) check plugs appears to have no water. 4) did battery test battery is fine wind screen wipers working at full capacity, lights are not dim, - engine light is on.I'm hoping that a little sun will help dry out and start. As there is no kick - can hear fuel and all gagesg and power working, car just not kicking at all. Thoughts.
