I recently had the CPS replaced (insulation rubbed off exposing wires) at dealership, 5 minutes off the lot I heard noise front passenger side, shortly after the car died. I opened the hood and saw the alternator belt completely missing, the ps/ac belt comming off and damaged. My question is, could this have been caused from replacing the sensor, and why would the engine die? It doesnt crank at all, I think it sounded like something freewheeling (spinning)

Thanks

The car will die after a time because the alternator is not charging the battery and the battery dies out. Have the dealer look at the car again they were the last to touch it?
