I reversed the jumer cables and it now we've replaced the alternator and battery which worked for about 1 1/2 days and it died while driving it.

It starts so it's not the starter, it ran so it's not the battery or alternator, so what other insanely expensive item could need to be replaced??

Re-check the alternator. It is not uncommon to get a bad one or two. Autozone alternaters are questionable.

Becareful about crossing cables, it can blow the computer. It wouldn't have started from the getgo if it had.
