2004 Other Hyundai Models 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 100K miles

i just had the breaks changed. They also disconnected the battery and cleaned the terminals. Now, my check engine light is on. Could that have anything to do with disconnecting the battery?

Hi:
Yes it could. What to do is take the car to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer for codes and then reset the light. Most will do it for free, and then you will know if there really is a problem or just a result of the battery being disconnected.
