Greetings,
Scan tool has detected a DTC of #3 cylinder missing. Happen after replacing the plugs, another new plug, new spark plug wires, and have switched injectors from different cylinders, and still DTC of #3 cylinder. The vehicle has separate coil for #2 & #3 cylinder. Is there a way to test a coil in the field? Or what other component could be causing this failure??

One other note, "seems" to only miss at idle, higher rpms seems to run just fine.

Thanks Steve K

The intermittent nature of this issue would lead me to recommend replacement of the coil(s) and clearing of the fault(s). High voltage is very difficult to contain sometimes.
