Fuel filter location?

Car was doing just fine. Parked by the side of the road to watch a parade, then after the parade, went to start the car. No start. It tries to start but its just turning, went to pump the gas. Still no start. I figured it was the fuel pump, so I bought one and replaced it myself. Tried starting the car, still nothing, same sound, like its trying to start. Do I need to check the fuel pump relay? Or could it be something else?

This sounds like a fuel issue but we need to start at the beginning. Here is a guide that will help sort this out:

Once we start crossing these things off the list we will know better what the issue is but I would start with fuel pressure.

If you changed the pump we can assume it is okay, but we need to do as you said and check the relay as I assume you will not have pressure. Here is a guide on how to do that:

If fuel pressure checks out okay, then we need to use starter fluid in the intake and see if it starts. If it does then we have an issue causing the injectors not to fire. We should confirm they are not firing by using this guide:

If the injectors are not firing then we have a control issue and we can dig into that. However, by the sound of it, I suspect you will turn up your issue before we get here. Let me know what you find and we can go from there. Thanks
