About six months ago my brakes went out due to the front passenger brake hose having two worn down places on it so it was leaking. Replaced the hose and now it has happened again. Reached my hand back behind the tire and it is like it is rubbing against each other or the frame. What could be causing this? Will I have to keep replacing this hose every six months?

Most vehicles have a rather specific routing path for wiring and brake hoses to prevent contact with the frame, steering components and the tires. It sounds like the hose you replaced was not routed correctly. The service information we have shows a generic picture so it is not a lot of help (see below). Here are videos to help you make your own line or replace the brake flex hose.

The process is the same in most cases. Another possibility is that the line you used was not the correct one for that car or side but was sold to fit. That happens a lot more than it should.
