Thank you for clearing up the fuel pump access question. I could always peek under the carpet and see if this particular unit does have the access panel. To answer your question, I have not checked the fuel pressure yet. Does it require a gauge?
To sort of give the full context of my question, I ran this car out of gas while letting it idle at my house during my twice a week start up and run routine to "keep things working" (car is rarely driven) and now it does not start. I am trying to figure out if I can fix it myself because the shop cost is pretty expensive versus the car's worth. But I would like to see what I can do, maybe it is not the pump at all, right? I need to start the diagnosis from the beginning, I suppose. Thanks, AL
