So I turn the air on and all blowers work in the front section and back sections (third row seating). The problem is front driver is cold air but passenger and back seats get hot air. I was able to remove the door actuator out on the passenger side and manually turn it but I still felt hot air. I probably will still replace it but haven't yet to see if that was the problem. What worries me that I read that manually doing it I should have felt a difference but did not. I live in Florida and summer is coming fast. Help!

Good morning,

Yes, it could be the blend door actuator, not the mode door actuator.

They are different.

I have attached the location and the procedure for the passenger side actuator for temperature control. Remove that and see if you can manually turn the door and get cold air.

Hello Again. So I went ahead and replaced both actuators and thought I had fixed the problem because I did feel cool air come out in the back seats. So my problem now is the back and passenger won't get cold but of if I turn the heat on they both get as hot as the driver side. But for the A/C they don't even come close to how cold the driver side gets. It's just feels like normal air blowing out.

Okay, did you calibrate the actuators after you installed them?

What you need to do is to remove the fuse for the A/C system under the hood. Wait for 2 minutes and re install.

Then turn the key to on position only and wait 5 minutes. The controller will cycle the doors to there correct positions.

Then start it and see if it is better.

The one marked HVAC. Remove it for 2 minutes.

Okay, the next step is going to be pressures.

I need to see or know the high and low side pressures of the A/C system while it is running.

You can rent a set of gauges or buy a cheap set so you can do this test. We need to know if the pressures are correct.
