Before I do get started, the only open female connector on the clock spring is for the rest of the steering wheel controls, audio and cruise control. The 2 airbag leads that have 2 wires each in them, do not have a light green wire. They are variations of a tan color. Both of those now have a resistor in them to turn off the airbag light. Being that those airbag connectors are the only thing going into where the horn is, how can it be that the horn signal isn't coming from one of them. This is what I find confusing.

The light green is on the input side. It will not be the same color on the other side.

That is why you need to ohm it out and find out where is comes up.

Roy, I found the pin on the clock spring for the horn signal. It was on the opposite end of where it plugs into the stationary part of the clock spring 8n the back. I made a connector and slid it onto the pin and it is secure. When I touch it to a ground, the horn sounds, but when I touch it to the ground of the hub, I get nothing. The horn should sound when even touching both wires together. I enclosed a picture that was sent to me by NRG of what the connections should look like and that is what I have. Why shouldn't I be getting a good ground where the steering wheel bolts to the column? That always works.

Then that hub is not grounded. If it was, the horn would work.

Hi Roy. The steering wheel project came out great with all your help. I was wondering if you could give me some info. On the next project. There is no rush, so take your time on finding the info. Of course I lost my cruise control going to an aftermarket wheel. I'm going to rig up a new area on the dash to wire up the cruise control. I bought 3 LED switches. One regular on/off and two momentary switches. I need to know, whether on the column or under the dash, which color wires are for cruise on/off, set, resume, accel and ignition. I believe each button needs to be connected to the ignition wire. The brake should also still turn off the cruise, but not concerned about that if I can still turn it off from a button. If you can be a help towards this, it would be fantastic. Thank you

Okay, I can only deal with one issue per question. These are the site rules.

If you could start a new question from the beginning, I would be glad to help you with this issue.

I would appreciate it Roy. You seem a bit more knowledgeable. I know what I ask for are probably not everyday questions, but I can't find diagrams over the internet. I need to know the color wires and where I can find them on the column for the ignition, Cruise on/off, Set and Resume. 4 wires total, so I can rig up new cruise control switches being I lost my steering wheel switches. I've seen this done before on a Honda, but I don't know the color wires for my car. The fella that did it used regular 2 terminal on/off switches. I am using 5 prong Halo LED's, so I am also confused on how to wire them. The switches need a positive and a ground to light the LED. I already have them installed and they light up when pressed. 1 latching switch and 2 momentary switches. Being that I already have a positive lead, can I just forget about the ignition wire because a positive lead needs to be connected to the other terminals that need each one of the cruise control wires. Hope you can understand what I mean. I'm just confused because a switch needs two leads to turn it on and off. How would I connect a single cruise control wire to a 5 prong plug. Anyway, no rush on this, so take as much time as you need to figure it all out. Its giving me a brain cramp. Lol. And thank you once again.

I did with pics. Where did it go? I don't have the diagrams you sent me either just a few minutes ago. I am at work right now and might be a little delayed getting back to you.
