Horn works when using remote "lock" but not when pressing steering wheel. The fuse good and the relay good.

Probably a bad switch, but that may be sold as part of the airbag. Check with the dealer to find out.

Switches were good- Remedy ( believe it or not) was NOT to press horn symbols with thumbs but actually push using heel of hand forcibly or grip top of wheel & push FORCIBLY ! DUH !

That's an indication of deterioration in the switch contacts. It will likely get worse over time.
