Oil leak

I've recently rebuilt the head of my 1994 honda prelude 2.3l engine. All gaskets and seals replaced. I continue to have a small leak coming from the driver side of the engine. My mechanic cannot get a visual on the leak. He says it could be the oil pump, or a crack in the block or somewhere else? I've researched a product called "heal a seal" where supposedly it seals cracks and warped valves. Is there something else you would recommend? I had a mechanic even recommend using tomato paste in the engine to seal up leaks? Ever hear of that b4?

No, but pepper in the radiator for coolant leaks is an old standby. BLOCK SEAL isn't a bad product. But What the hell, go for the marinara and report back!

I would look at the seal on the crankshaft as a possible culprit. I don't really like to go with the additive because it is likely to fix the one problem and then cause another. Before I would suspect the oil pump I would check the seal.
