I just took my car in for an oil change, and when I was there they told me that the computer was saying that I was due to have my rear differential replaced. I have only had my car for a year, and there are only 29k miles on it. Can this be correct? And if so, am I going to have to do this every year? If it does need to be replaced, how can I tell, will there be any warning signs that I can look for myself?
