2000 Honda Passport 4wd w/ 75k mi first did not want to crank, then would turn over but would not crank. Took to local mechanic--they replaced a sensor. Car cranked for a day or two, died again. Went back to local mechanic; they towed it to dealership. Service dept. claimed it cranked, first time, every time, though they kept it 2 weeks. Retrieved car, had a little trouble cranking it, but after a week, drove it home from Troy (about 60 miles). Car died. No cranking, would not even turn over. Replaced fuel pump. Still dead.

You use the word crank freely. Crank means to me the engine turns over. I assume that you have checked to see if the fuel pressure is correct and constant. Have you checked the spark of the vehicle as well?
