When I went to alloy wheels from the factory steel on my 99 Honda, the tires were obviously not put back on in the same position as on the old wheels and my tires became scalloped. Is there a way to remedy the excessive road noise that was not there before the changeover, such as rotating them again, or am I looking at new tires. I was told by the tire company(at time of the change to alloys) to wait a few hundred miles and the noise would smooth out. I't didn't and thus scalloped tires.
