Im very surprised and satisfied with your site and how fast you respond. Thank you for the help with my car. But I do have one question just wondering because my dad had a truck that had a problem and just fixed itself I guess. Lol. Im not sure but it quit on its own. What cause's gas to go into the oil? The oil would fill with gas after a few days of a new oil change.I would guess we changed the oil almost every other day.I just cant figure out exactly what caused it or why it stopped. Thanks for all the help!

Was the truck running very poorly during that time? Or did it work ok but maybe was hard to start after a longer sitting? Another angle is was there a smell of gas during that time period?

It is possible that one or more injectors was leaking. This slipped by the piston and rings and entered the oil. Why it stopped is a mystery unless the vehicle was attempted to pass a kidney stone so to speak through the fuel line after it got by the filter.
