ONE OF THE FRONT WINDSHIELD SPRAY NOZZLES ON MY `99 CRV CONSTANTLY CLOGS UP, WHERE ONLY A TRICKLE OF FLUID COMES OUT. HOW CAN I SAFELY REPAIR THIS MYSELF? I'M TIRED OF TAKING IT TO A MECHANIC.

First off there is the old pin trick from the nozzle in but that only pushes what contaminant is there back aways and then it comes back. I would disconnect the hose from the nozzle and then blow backwards. If you cannot get to the hose connection you can try a hardware store to buy a small plastic union for the hose and then cut it. Now blow out from the nozzle. If this is the only one of the two that clogs, you might be fine. If they both clog, I would siphon out the washer bottle and then run the line empty while still disconnected. Try to flush out all the junk. Even when you are siphoning the liquid try to get to the bottom so the junk down there gets sucked out. Refill and reassemble. Should be fine. Good luck.
