Check engine light diagnosed by mechanic. Advised it needs a new oxygen sensor and wants $400 for the job. I looked online and found it for $198. The problem is that there appears to be TWO oxygen sensors in this vehicle (vin#SHSRD78444U232189).
How do I know which one to buy, as I will be installing it myself.

The code will tell you! Bank one sensor 1 or 2.1 is before the converter, 2 is after, one deos most of the switching and is usually the one. These are made to last 100,000 miles, you are past that, wouldn't hurt to replace em both!
