My radiator has a small leak on the top chamber, on the front of the radiator, just under the radiator cap. It is still relatively small, but it is slowly growing, and I have to constantly fill it up with coolant. I want to get it fixed, but is there an easy way to patch up the leak? I have to get it replaced by a professional, how much should it cost?

Hi neville92,

The radiator top tank is made of fibre based material and patching would not last as it is susceptible to expansion and contraction. You would at least need to get the top tank replaced or get a used radiator from the junk yard.

Sorry I am not able to provide any costing but it would be wise to enquire around and get an idea of prices at your local area.
