Hello,

You must be losing ground or power for the system also check the wiring in the driver's door it can get broken where the door hinges are.

Here is a guide and the door lock wiring diagrams (below)

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-use-a-test-light-circuit-tester

Could be the switch as well

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/electric-window-repair

Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken

Hi,

When I use my keyless remote to unlock or lock the doors, none of the doors lock or unlock.

When I am inside the car, and I use the switch on the driver's door to lock or unlock all doors, all the doors except the driver's door does as I desired.

I have to manually lock/unlock the driver door.

The strange thing is why with the keyless remote, none will lock/unlock, and in the car all but the driver's door locks/unlocks.

I changed the battery in the keyless. The horn sounds when the doors are locked. The lights flash too, so the keyless works.

Any ideas?

Sounds like you have a problem with the driver door lock actuator.

Thanks I thought that could be it. But was wondering then why the inside power door lock it able to unlock the other doors. But not with the remote. Seems strange.

Is there a definite giveaway when you would no it is the actuator that is the problem and not an electrical issue with the car's computer?

The lock on the driver's side makes a buzzing sound when I use the remote, won't unlock the door but does lock the door. I disconnected actuator to open door manually with a key but won't open with the key either. Sometimes able to open with key and at times it doesnt work. Any idea as to what is wrong? Checked fuses, they are fine. No problems with the other doors. New battery in the remote.

Replace the actuator. The buzzing sound is the actuator trying to unlock the door.

The driver side door will not open, the electric opener works, the key works but the door will not open. This has happened in the past and the shop just put the key in the ignition opposite of the position I had it in when we took it to them. Is it the door lock it self or the acuator?

Hi,
The remote door locks ( key ring ) stopped working.
I replaced the battery in the key fob, with no luck.
I then tried the 2nd remote that ame with the car.
Still nothing happens. I looked at the fuse box and found no problems. Every thing on the car works manualy, locks, horn etc.
Just unresponsive to my remote.
Is there an "receivier" that the remotes trigger, and if so where would you find that little sucker?

Regards,
Dan

The driver's door does not operate with the power lock. It now only operates with the key. For a time it was intermittent, now it does not work at all. The others doors work electronically. I saw that someone else had the same issue with the same model. What was the answer?

Did you get an answer to your question? I was told that it needs a power lock actuator. Was that the problem?

The switch that unlocks all the doors wont work unless the drivers door is closed. Would this be something I can fix myself?

Hi iainm,

There is nothing that you need to fix.

When the driver door is not closed, the lock cannot be activated and this would prevent the central locking from operating.
