2000 Honda Civic DX 1.6 with 101,000 Miles. Had a problem with the a/c clutch continuously making a ticking sound at idle. As I rolled into the service center the mechanic immediately told me to shut off the A/C because he said the compressor was about to seize. I replaced the compressor with a brand new one, as well as the drier, o-rings and oil, and evacuated the system. And I still have the same problem at idle? The cars performance when this happens is horrible. I know it's possible but very hard for me to believe that two different compressors one being brand new would have the same problem. Could this be an inline pressure switch problem and if so could you tell me how to locate it? Thanks alot. This site is great by the way thanks for making it possible.
