The rearview mirror came off. There are no broken parts but it will not pop back into place. How do I fix it?

Did the metal piece attached to the windsheild also come off?

If it did, there is a rearview mirror adhesive kit available at a parts store.

You need to PAY CLOSE ATTENTION to which side gets glued to the windsheild. There should be an allen , plhillips or trx screw that hold the mirror to the backing plate. Remove it from the mirror and follow the directions on the package.
