Hi there,

the engine is running far to rich causing this overheating, check this first.

I got a 03 honda civc 4 door 1.7 liter if start the car fah about 10 minutes the exaust manifold turns red hot I have already checked if the cadalytic conveter for any kind of blockedg nd already checked the timing which is perfect, both O2 sensors are Ok nd no OBD codes if some one can plz give me some kind of advice on this matter it is greatly apciated. And thankz alot to mark for your comments yesterday

I've been tranin under a licenced mechanic for 5 years now because I do not have my high school deploma I am not able to get my automotive service techanicean licence but I have also done a prep course to do my test. Is there any way fah me to get my licence plz help.

Hi there, check that you don't have a leaking injector or a faulty ignition system as often excess fuel in the cat will cause this problem, as for the other issue, as I live in Australia I have no idea as to how your trade qualifications are obtained nor hoe the system works there sorry.
