1998 Honda Civic engine light came on

I took it to a mechanic, they did a diagnostic test and he said the codes were 300, 301, 302 and 303? And that he needs to look at it today (I took it in last evening). Any advise is greatly appreciated, I am a single mom and I want to be informed. Thank you

Most common is that engine needs a tune up
should be 1st to check and do

Can it be that simple? Cylinder misfire seems to be the codes? Is that correct? And also the car was driving weird after the light came on? Like slipping as you accelerated the car? I was thinking transmission problems? But I like your suggestion better. Thank you

Sure if the engine not firing all cylinders
tranny performance will be effected
