Hi, I checked my check engine light with an Actron scanner from auto zone. It had a code p1399 and said (pending) whats this mean? I deleted the codes and seeing if it comes back up before I bring it back to the shop. Autozone printed a paper out or me on what the code means and said egr valve which my car dont have or valve clearence out of range whats this mean? The car was idling really low and rough yesterday but today its fine its really weird. Brand new ngk iridium plugs and ngk wires all are dry. Also maybe about 6 months ago I had a friend work on my car which is actually an old friend now and I thought he knew what he was doin and he messed with my vLVE LASH AND MADE THE CAR UNdriveable and I had a mechanic which is no longer my mechanic adjust the valves so the car would run. He did it by eye and never used a feeler guage. Ty

The valves are in need of adjustment.

I brang my car to my mechanic today and he said the pcv hose is collapsed and it is I saw it and the car is running rich from it. He thinks thats the problem. So I ordered the pcv hose and valve assembly from honda and ill get it put on tomorrow so ill see what happens after its installed.
