1997 Honda Civic Gas mileage

I have a 1997 honda civic 4dr auto 181000 kms. Runs well but Only goes up to 300kms per full tank of regular gas. I had a similar car before that goes up between 450- 500kms /tank before. Whats the problem?

Hi blueboi_29,

There are many possible causes and they are mostlikely related to the engine performance.

Get atuneup done and remeber to check the ignition timing.

Is the engine performance comparable to your previous vehicle that you are comparing the mileage?
