Brakes problem
1995 Honda Civic 64000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have a 2 door 2005 Honda Civic and broke the left tail light on both the frame and the trunk. I ordered the parts online and went to replace them, but could not get them off and did not want to break anything. I undid the 3 screws inside the trunk for the frame section and need help! Can you all guide me through my ignorance?!? Thanks...

Hi seydawg,

Heading says 1995, but you mentioned 2005 model so I guess it is the latter.

After removing the nuts, you need to pry the lights off. Refer to new taillights for any locking tabs that you need to be careful about.

After being on the car for so long, the light housing tend to stick so some force is needed to get it off.

You were correct that it was a 2005 model - in fact, I said it was a 2 door and it is a 4 door. Sorry for the mix up - and thanks for the advice! The taillight popped off with much force. You guys rock!
