1994 Honda Civic OIL?

I bought my civic about a week and a half ago. I had an oil chnage done the day after I bought it. I replaced both tie rods and the driver side axle.
When I went to check my oil it was dry. I dont understand why there would be no oil if I just had an oil change. I checked where I park my car every night and there was no oil. THe car does start to smoke but only when I let the RPM's get to 5. Which I dont do often. Is this the head gasket or the piston rings?

If you are letting your car get to though high rpms. Then I would have to say that ur rings are burnt out
