Engine Cooling problem
1993 Honda Civic 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

My radiator fan is run direct by a swicth controlled my the driver. When I am driving I usually have it on the whole time. How do I know if or when I should have it on or off?

Why is it ran to a switch? Hook it up to the actual fan switch on the motor. You won't be able to tell the difference in 10-20deg. On your cluster gauge.

Or you could run with it on all the time, but that'll cause problems as well (higher emissions, longer warm-up periods, etc)

Thank You. Ok, I will find the fan switch on the motor. It is run direct because a friend tried fixing it before but couldn't. I will give it a shot!
